Swami Tapananda, the Founder President of Sri Ramakrishna Sarada Ashram, had established Acharya Jagadish Chandra Academy B.Ed. College in 2013, affiliated to The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration, and approved by NCTE.
The College campus is located in the heart of the Vill+P.O.- Bagchi, Jamsherpur (Karimpur), P.S.-Hogalbaria, Dist- Nadia, State- West Bengal, Pin-741122 and is about 80 k.m. from Krishnanagar Railway Station and 05 K.m. from Karimpur bus stand. The college is providing excellent opportunities to the student in pursuit of knowledge. The infrastructure viz, library and laboratory are well equipped, excellent method of teaching and has a cordial relationship among the students and teachers. Ample opportunities are being provided to the students to take a part in curricular and co-curricular activities. The faculty members are well qualified, experienced and motivated. I thought of creating good teachers appreciating the missionary spirit who can educate the students to be good citizens for the country by establishing an ideal Teacher Training Institution, presently known as Acharya Jagadish Chandra Academy B.Ed. College in the Campus of running from the session 2013-14. I have my inner confidence that this teacher training institute will grow and build skilled and humanistic teachers for the service of the mankind and shaping the future life of the learners.
